The Health Professionals Certification (HPC) was set up to provide regulatory control over health practitioners and to protect the public.
Each member is carefully vetted to ensure they meet the Health Professionals Council’s standards of training, professional skills, behaviour and health. They currently regulate 14 health professions, including chiropody and have over 200,000 professional members. If a member does not meet these standards at any time, they can be stopped from practicing or even prosecuted.
